Terms of Service

Before you publish: replace [LEGAL ENTITY], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] and [GOVERNING JURISDICTION] throughout. I have deliberately not invented a company name, address or governing law — those must be your real details, and a plausible-looking guess in a contract is worse than a blank.

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we", "us") covering the ReelMachi mobile app and this website. By using ReelMachi you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What ReelMachi does

ReelMachi uses AI models to generate images showing you wearing garments you photograph, and to edit images from a text prompt. Generated images are a machine's approximation. They will not always be accurate about fit, colour, fabric, drape or proportion, and should not be relied on as a substitute for actually trying a garment on.

2. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher) to use ReelMachi.

One free trial is available per email mailbox. Creating extra accounts — including by using address aliases — to obtain additional trials is not permitted.

3. What you may upload

You agree not to upload:

photographs of anyone who has not agreed to appear in them, or of any person under 18;
images you do not have the rights to use;
sexual, hateful, violent or otherwise unlawful content;
content intended to impersonate or misrepresent a real person.

Generations are screened automatically for prohibited content. A generation blocked by that screening still consumes credits, because the AI provider has already been paid for the work. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

4. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us only the narrow, temporary licence needed to process them and return your result — nothing more. We do not use your images to train models. See our Privacy Policy for how briefly they exist on our systems.

Subject to these terms, generated images are yours to use, including commercially. You remain responsible for how you use them, and for respecting the rights of anyone depicted.

5. Credits

Generations are metered in credits, shown on the button before you confirm:

Try-on: 2 credits, plus 1 credit for each additional garment.
Edit: 8 credits.

Credits are deducted when a generation is submitted. If a generation fails for a technical reason and produces no image, the credits are returned automatically. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and are not transferable between accounts.

6. Subscriptions and billing

ReelMachi offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Current plans and prices are always shown in the app before you purchase, in your local currency.

Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
Your credit allowance refreshes at the start of each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over.
Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Credit packs

Credit packs are one-off purchases that top up an active subscription. They do not grant access on their own and do not renew. Because they are consumable, they cannot be restored after purchase.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple and Google, so refunds are governed by their policies and must be requested from them; we cannot issue them directly. Where a refund is granted, we may withdraw the corresponding access or credits. Nothing here limits any statutory refund or cancellation right you have under consumer law.

7. Cancelling and deleting

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. This is immediate and irreversible: it erases your account, remaining credits, history and locally stored photos.

Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that separately in your store account, or it will keep billing you. See deleting your account.

8. Availability

We aim to keep ReelMachi available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may impose reasonable usage limits to protect the service. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Except where the law says otherwise, ReelMachi is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for purchasing decisions you make based on a generated image.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot legally be waived.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use ReelMachi after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
